Downtown Protected Bike Lane Network

The City is recommending a two way protected bike lane on the east side of Garry Street. No improvements are included for the painted bike lane on Fort Street, which is disappointing. You can view the plans for the Downtown Protected Bike Lane Network here.

Main Street Half Signal

Proposed Half Signal for Main Street @ Assiniboine Avenue

A half signal crossing of Main Street at the eastern end of Assiniboine has also been recommended. We are happy to see this, and hope that the signal will provide timely crossings of Main Street for people walking or biking across Main Street.

West Alexander Pedestrian & Cycling Corridor
