Safe Passing Campaign
Thanks to over 50 Winnipeg cyclists and Tire Stewardship Manitoba, we have raised enough money for the full 30 bus campaign. It will roll out July 1.

Yes, we have been lobbying MPI to produce ads which tell drivers how to pass bicycles, but last year’s ads were too vague and we have no assurance they will do better this year, so that’s why we think it is in the best interests of cyclists to band together and sponsor ads that clearly tell drivers what to do. Contributing $100 is a lot of money, but it is nothing compared to the cost of getting hit by a driver who didn’t know how to pass!
