At time of review, the candidate did not have a website or social media, thus no statement or platform were found re cycling and active transportation.

From Vote Winnipeg 2018 (Winnipeg Free Press) accessed 2 Oct 2018:

Q: “What is your position on reopening Portage and Main to pedestrians?” “I do not support the re-opening of Portage and Main to pedestrians.”

Q: “What should Winnipeg’s plan be for the future of public and active transit?” “I was glad to support the City’s 2018 budget that calls for Winnipeg Transit to conduct an operational review and to develop a long term strategic plan in 2018, to include but not be limited to, reduced fares for low-income riders, appropriate financial projections, service goals, performance metrics, and related benchmarking data, as well as a capital investment plan and financing strategy for this plan. I also believe the city must continue to make investments in the active transportation network. I strongly supported filling in the gaps in the active transportation network through projects like the Yellow Ribbon Greenway Trail extension and the addition of bike lanes on St. Matthews and Empress St.”

From Winnipeg Votes 2018 (CBC) accessed 17 Oct 2018:

Q: “What do you think about the opening of the Portage and Main intersection to pedestrians?” “It’s silly. We shouldn’t be doing it. We have a lot of other higher priorities than opening Portage and Main. We could spend that money on, go figure, potholes or roads — anything.”

The candidate did not complete the 2018 all-candidate environmental survey: A coalition of Winnipeg Environmental Organizations compiled questions for an all-candidate (Mayoral and Councilor) survey with questions relating to the environment, including AT.
