Q: “What is your position on reopening Portage and Main to pedestrians?” “Portage and Main has been handled incredibly poorly by our current city council. I will support whatever option the voters of Point Douglas choose. Regardless of the results of the ballot question I will be working hard to ensure that the intersection is made to meet the needs of people with accessibility issues as soon as we possibly can.”

Q: “What is your stance on opening up Portage and Main to pedestrians?” “In most parts of the ward, everyone either doesn’t care or is violently against it. It’s tough having a ward that’s so spread out. It’s more the people downtown who want it. My stance is that I don’t know if we need it open. I do know we need to make it more accessible. There haven’t been any reports on how to make it more accessible. It’s a tough question for me. I will respect whatever Point Douglas voters decide. Even if it’s a “no” I will work to make it more accessible.”
The candidate did not complete the 2018 all-candidate environmental survey: A coalition of Winnipeg Environmental Organizations compiled questions for an all-candidate (Mayoral and Councilor) survey with questions relating to the environment, including AT.
