Bike Tour: Trails & Parks of South St. Vital

You are invited to join Denis De Pape on Sunday, August 16 for a leisurely bike ride through St. Vital's finest natural settings and most enjoyable trails. As part of its 25th Anniversary celebrations, Save Our Seine is presenting a guided bike tour of the trails and parks of South St. Vital. This 20 km ride will take you through and along the magical Bois-des-Esprits, Louis Riel Sr. Trail, Bishop Grandin Greenway, St. Vital Park, Henteleff Park and South St. Vital Trail.(see route on attached map). Date: Sunday, August 16 Start time: 9:00 am Duration: about 1 hour and 45 minutes, expected finish around 11 am. Meeting place: St. Anne's Road and Southglen Ave. - south west corner of Extra Foods parking lot, look for the other cyclists Cyclists must be at least 12 years of age. Younger participants may accompany adults as long as the adults provide the pedal-power. Bring sun protection, insect spray, and water.
