No specific statements or platform concerning cycling and active transportation appear on the candidate’s website,; there is reference to ensure better sidewalks. There are  a number of platform statements re improving public transit.

Q: “What should Winnipeg’s plan be for the future of public and active transit?”

A: “We should be expanding and electrifying our transit fleet. Increasing service frequency and accessibility so that people can move around the city no matter where they live. Also utilize more Park and Ride service and further developments of Rapid Transit.

Active transport is just as important to ensure winnipeggers have as many reliable options to commute whenever they wish, regardless of whether it’s a car or not.”

Q: “What is your position on reopening Portage and Main to pedestrians?”

A: “My personal opinion is I would like to see it open, however if my constituents vote overwhelmingly one way or the other, I will respect their wishes as their representative.”

The candidate completed the 2018 all-candidate environmental survey: A coalition of Winnipeg Environmental Organizations compiled questions for an all-candidate (Mayoral and Councilor) survey with questions relating to the environment, including AT.
