Put Brakes on Rapid Transit
To date, $425 million has been spent on BRT to the University of Manitoba. Yet, there is no evidence that the route is quicker or ridership higher. So much for the benefits of ‘rapid’ transit.
Garth believes we should put the brakes on the second leg of BRT until there is categorical information supporting this massive capital expenditure.
