Join Bike Winnipeg as we tour some of the wonderful trails of Assiniboia. We’ll begin our tour riding up the beautiful Sturgeon Creek Trail, making use of the new connections beneath Sturgeon Road and Ness Avenue. From there we’ll turn our attention east as we pedal along the Yellow Ribbon Trail through forested trail and past the Living Prairie Museum before turning south to finish out our loop with a ride through Assiniboine Park.

We’ll be traveling at a leisurely pace, and the route will be on pathways and low-stress residential streets, so it’s suitable for everyone, even those who might not have been on a bike for a while. The total length of this round trip ride is 16 km (about 2hrs, with an option to shorten the round trip ride to 10kms. We’ll be stopping for breaks along the way as well, and are hoping to provide information on programming available at the community clubs we pass by.
