As part of Bike Week 2015, Winnipeg will have its first Blessing of the Bicycles.

Held at Knox United (across from Central Park) on Sunday, June 14, at 10:30 am. A short non-sectarian celebration of riding bicycles, gratitude for our bodies and the genius of the bicycle, and a moment to remember cyclists who have died on our roads.

The first Blessing of the Bicycles was held at the Cathedral of St John the Divine in New York City in 1999.  Since then it has spread to many cities across North America and Europe.

Knox is a beautiful old cathedral. Bicycles and riders will be able to come forward for a blessing to accompany them on their journeys this summer. Wheelchair accessible (for trikes etc)
