SUMMARY:Winter City Bicycle Infrastructure Design Workshop
DESCRIPTION:A Winter Cycling Conference Pre-Session workshop that will be presented by Urban Systems. \nThis 1 day course is designed to assist design professionals in developing awareness and understanding of the unique issues and needs of cyclists and will equip participants with the design skills needed to deal with diverse\, complex issues that arise around the selection\, design and implementation of cycling infrastructure.   The course considers the wide variety of contexts in which cycling infrastructure is implemented throughout Canada\, including rural\, suburban and urban communities.   The course will have a specific emphasis throughout the curriculum on planning\, designing\, and maintaining bicycle facilities in Winter Cities. \nThis course is being offered at a special rate to commemorate the Winter Cycling Congress. \nCourse registration costs:\n$200 as a standalone (if you want to attend only the course)\n$100 as an add-on for conference attendees \nForm more information\, please visit the 2014 Winter Cycling Congress site.
