SUMMARY:Winter Bike to Work Day Ride
DESCRIPTION:In celebration of Winter Bike to Work Day on Friday\, February 8th\, we’ll be gathering folks up at the Amsterdam Tea Room (211 Bannatyne Ave\, Old Market Square) before heading out on a winter ride at 6pm. Drop by after work for a hot drink with friends. The Amsterdam Tea Room has lots to offer. \nAt 6pm\, we’ll jump on our bikes for a casual winter ride through the Exchange District and Downtown into Osborne Village\, wind our way through St. Boniface along the newly opened Taché Promenade\, and finally cross Esplanade Riel into The Forks for an evening night cap at Festi-Bar on Ice. \nTotal ride distance will be about 9-10km\, and should take a little over an hour from start to finish. \nMake sure that you are dressed for the weather\, and that your lights are charged up and ready to shine.
