SUMMARY:Winnipeg Transit Riders Association - Public Forum
DESCRIPTION:Winnipeg Transit Riders Association is a new organization\, and they are looking for you to help them set their direction and priorities. \nCome out to a public forum on \nSat Mar 23\n10:30 AM – 2:30 PM\nCarol Shields Auditorium\nMillennium Library\n251 Donald St \nHere’s what will happen at our forum: \n\nHear Winnipeg Transit share their plans for improving the system.\nSee videos of exciting\, inspiring public transit solutions from elsewhere.\nParticipate in an Open Space discussion exercise. What do you want to talk about?\n\nThere will even be refreshments! \nMobility should be considered a right in this society. Currently\, many Winnipeggers do not own cars and are not able to use public transit to effectively meet their mobility needs. We need to help Winnipeg Transit and government understand what transit riders want and need so that more people will use Transit. \nFacebook: http://www.facebook.com/groups/WinnipegTransitRidersAssociation/ \nPlease share this message with your friends and networks!
