Effective collaboration between public health and active transportation can strengthen projects with better results for all   residents\, including children\, senior citizens\, people with disabilities\, and low-income families. By understanding the impact of different types of interventions on the behavior of drivers and pedestrians\, transportation professionals can create and construct designs that meet community goals.
