SUMMARY:Southwest Transitway Public Information Session
DESCRIPTION:Public engagement is a critical component of the Southwest Transitway functional design study. The City of Winnipeg wants to make sure everyone knows what is happening\, and also want to hear your opinions. Landmark Planning & Design will be contacting residents\, property owners and business owners in the immediate vicinity of the corridor in October and November 2013 for direct conversations about the project. A series of public Open Houses will be held at the CanadInns Fort Garry (1824 Pembina Highway) at the following times: \n• Monday\, November 18th: 3:30 pm – 5:30 pm and 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm\n• Tuesday\, November 19th: 3:30 pm – 5:30 pm and 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm \nDetails can also be found by clicking here: Southwest Transitway Public Information Session. \nBike Winnipeg’s Recommendations for the Southwest Transitway. \nFollowing these initial meetings\, the design team will prepare a precise draft alignment and then carry out a second round of consultation from December 2013 to February 2014.
