SUMMARY:Ride Marshal Orientation: Spring 2018
DESCRIPTION:As we gear up for the summer cycling season\, we are once again putting together a series of rides that will help Winnipeger’s explore the various neighbourhoods of the city on their bikes. To keep everyone safe on our rides\, we rely on volunteer ride marshals to ensure the rides run smoothly. To grow our pool of ride marshals\, we are offering two orientation sessions this spring (Saturday\, May 5th and Monday\, May 14th – they are both the same) at the Sport for Life Centre (Pacific @ Lily) to provide some training for prospective volunteers. If you are an experienced cyclist this is a great way to get involved in our efforts to get more people biking more often in Winnipeg. \n1st Session\nWhen: Saturday\,  May 5th 1:30 pm – 4 pm\nWhere: Sport 4 Life Centre (Room 2) \n2nd Session\nWhen: Monday\,  May 14th 6:00 pm – 8:30 pm\nWhere: Sport 4 Life Centre (Room 2) \nThe orientation sessions will consist of a quick classroom segment to be followed by a an on-road segment to practice what we have learned.
