SUMMARY:North St. Boniface Secondary Plan & Boulevard Provencher PDO Review
DESCRIPTION:The North St. Boniface Secondary Plan and Boulevard Provencher Planned Development Overlay (PDO-1) are important planning tools that help guide how land can be developed and used in the area. Both the North St. Boniface Secondary Plan and the Boulevard Provencher PDO documents have not been updated since the adoption of OurWinnipeg and the Complete Communities Direction Strategy (adopted in 2011). The City has initiated a review of the North St. Boniface Secondary Plan and the Boulevard Provencher PDO-1 to ensure they remain current and align with the policies in the Complete Communities Direction Strategy. \nTell the city planners what you think!\nPlease attend the open house (drop-in format):\nDate: Tuesday\, June 7th\, 2016\nTime: 4:30 – 8:30 p.m.\nLocation: École Taché\, 744 Langevin Street \nThe Review of the North St. Boniface Secondary Plan will: \n\nUpdate the Plan.\nAlign the Plan with the Complete Communities Direction Strategy.\nEnsure the Plan is consistent with and supports the proposed amendments to the Boulevard Provencher PDO-1.\nConsider possible amendments to the Lower Density Residential and Higher Density Residential policies contained in the IMPLEMENTATION section of the Plan.\nConsider amending the Plan‟s Proposed Land Use Map to depict the Lower Density Residential and Higher Density Residential areas separately\, instead of depicting them together as “Residential Policy Area” (which is currently the case).\n\nIf you are unable to attend\, please view the open house story boards and provide feedback through this survey. Deadline for feedback is June 21st\, 2016. \nMore Information: \n\nCity of Winnipeg web portal for Review\nBike Winnipeg Provencher Boulevard Protected Lanes Portal
