DESCRIPTION:Yana & Slav are cycling from Alaska to Argentina \nJoin them during their stop in Winnipeg to hear\ntales from their journey exploring how people view\nthe culture of consumerism in the Americas. \nWhen: Tuesday September 8th\n7pm – 9pm \nWhere: Conference Room A\nSport 4 Life Centre (145 Pacific @ Lily) \nAdmission is Free \nYana & Slav’s planned route from Alaska to Argentina \n—-\nCycle 4 Recycle \nIn June 2015 Vyacheslav Stoyanov and Yana Melamed began a cycling expedition from Alaska to Argentina to explore how people view the culture of consumption in the Americas. This trip is creating a web of people all around the world who already are using the bicycle as a way of transportation and engaging more and more new people to start following their example\, to begin sharing their activities and projects related to bicycle riding and recycling in their own country. \nCycling is a small step towards being healthy and moving around in an environmentally sound and inspiring way. The Cycle4Recycle Team believe that regardless of where you are\, the important thing is how wide your eyes are open for life. Ultimately\, great deeds are achieved by ordinary people.\n“I’ve been traveling for almost seven years and have visited a lot of different countries in the world. I’ve seen luxury and misery.
