DESCRIPTION:Bike 2019 invites abstracts to be considered for presentation at the Bike 2019 conference May 7 in Edmonton and/or May 8 in Calgary\, Alberta. \nOur aim is to make Bike 2019 a key conference for cross sector exchange between researchers\, policy-makers\, and practitioners around cycling as a mode of active transport. \nThe suggested areas of focus are: \n\nPolicy\nEnvironment\nHealth Benefits\nEmerging Trends and Technologies (e.g. e-bikes\, bike share)\nBike Culture\nYear-round Cycling\nInfrastructure\nAwareness and Education\nWayfinding\nLiability\n\nThe deadline for abstract submissions is February 22\, 2019. There will be no extension of this deadline.
