DESCRIPTION:Every piece tells a story. Learn all about public artwork in Winnipeg: where it is\, why it’s there\, and what it means. Some works are fun\, colourful and interactive\, and others will encourage quiet contemplation. \nJoin Bike Winnipeg and the Winnipeg Arts Council on an informative ride and get to know the artwork that punctuates and brightens your city! \nDIY Field is just one of the public artworks that will light up on our ArtRide: Night Lights tour. \nArtRide: Night Lights will take us from the Millennium Library\, past the Human Rights Museum into Old St. Boniface\, then along the Riverbank through Whittier Park before riding into Elmwood and into Point Douglas before winding our way through this historic Exchange District to Central Park. Along the way we’ll will look at and learn about emptyful\, Sentinel of Truth\, Monument\, Light Through\, YOU YOU + YOU and DIY Field. \nTours are free\, but space is limited.
