SUMMARY:Active School Travel Engineering Plan Presentations
DESCRIPTION:Green Action Centre\, in partnership with the University of Manitoba Civil Engineering Department and the City of Winnipeg are excited to present the results from our ground breaking project. Together\, we worked on Active School Travel Engineering Plans (ASTEP) at 17 schools around Winnipeg in Louis Riel\, Pembina Trails and Winnipeg School Divisions. \nStudents will present their findings to the City of Winnipeg through a poster presentation and each project will extend into 2015 through a series of broader community consultations. \nThe presentations will be in the University of Manitoba Faculty of Engineering Atrium on the following dates: \nMonday\, Nov. 24\, 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. – Winnipeg School Division\nWednesday\, Nov. 26\, 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. – Louis Riel School Division\nThursday\, Nov. 27\, 10:00 to 11:15 a.m. – Pembina Trails School Division\n \nPlease stop by to learn more about this exciting project!
